Managed Exchange MX records

Information

Description
If you've signed up for a Managed Exchange product with WebCentral and delegated your domain towards us then you won't need this guide. However if your domain is delegated externally it's more than likely you'll need to add our MX (Mail Records) .

WebCentral’s mail exchangers are:

MX10 mx1.bne.server-mail.com.
MX50 mx2.bne.server-mail.com.

We also heavily suggest that you setup an autodiscover record. This is a CNAME DNS record that points autodiscover.domain.com to WebCentral's autodiscover server.

his allows email programs such as Microsoft Outlook to automatically configure mailboxes, as well as being required for some advanced features of Exchange mailboxes, such as out-of-office automatic replies, calenders & contact syncing.

Legacy accounts, enter the following record in your DNS:

autodiscover.domain.com CNAME autodiscover-redirect.server-secure.com.

MCAM accounts, enter this record in your DNS:

autodiscover.domain.com CNAME autodiscover.server-secure.com.

In both cases, replace 'domain.com' with your domain name.
